I discovered P246 walking in the pastures at Black Crest Farm in South Carolina. I am always in search of Angus cows that I believe will work in the Balancer program and I immediately felt this female could excel in that arena. She is phenotypically flawless and extremely moderate in her type. She has a beautiful udder and is clean fronted and feminine.
Some of you will be familiar with 337M also in our donor program. P246 is my Angus version of 337M. Although we haven't produced calves by P246 yet, I feel strongly that she will be very complimentary to the Gelbvieh sires we have chosen to mate her to. Don't be afraid to sample this young cow. She is the right kind! |
